The Ottawa Shooting Stars and Rising Stars programs are looking for volunteers to fill a variety of roles with the club for the 2025-26 season and beyond. The club has experienced record setting growth, having tripled in size since before the pandemic, and we are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about making youth sports a positive experience for everyone involved.
While basketball knowledge would be considered an asset (as either a coach, or player), it is by no means a prerequisite as we have a wide variety of roles that require no understanding of the “X’s and O’s” of the sport. We also have a wide variety of opportunities for high school students to complete their community service hours as well.
