Ottawa Shooting Stars also offers developmental programs for the youngest basketball players in your family!
Designed for beginner and developing athletes, these programs focus on building fundamental basketball skills in a fun, positive, and supportive environment.
Participants will:
Learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, dribbling, and teamwork from our experienced coaching staff.
Develop their skills through age-appropriate drills, games, and small-sided play.
Take part in exciting 3-on-3 games and “Fun Day” festivals with other local basketball clubs.
Our goal is simple: help young athletes build confidence, develop a love for the game, and have fun every step of the way.

- Small Ball – January 1, 2019 – December 31, 2020 (Birth years 2019 & 2020)
Please note, that at the Small Ball level, all programs are co-ed unless otherwise noted.- Small Ball operates once per week, and is broken up into Fall (Oct-Dec), Winter (Jan-Mar) and Spring (Apr-May) sessions.

- Novice Boys -U10- Players born January 1, 2017 – December 31, 2018 (Birth years 2017 & 2018)
- Novice Boys will have 1 weeknight and 1 weekend session per week.
- Novice runs continuously from September through to April.
